Support Groups
The Center offers free, ongoing groups and workshops on a variety of issues. Support groups, workshops and events are held Monday-Thursday at specific times throughout the day. Most groups and workshops are drop-in. Free child care is available during support groups. Pre-enrollment is required for all groups marked with an asterisk (*).

Current Offerings
Anger Management Classes for Parents*

A safe space to explore self-defeating behaviors. Gain the skills, tools, and models to recognize, understand, and learn from your anger.

A 6 week group for those who have experienced loss of a loved one through death. Come to receive support from others who have experienced loss and get tips for managing your grief during the holidays.

Starting August 22, The playroom staff will be available to help your school-age children complete their homework assignments while you enjoy the comfort of our PDI room. Please be sure that your children come prepared with the necessary supplies (pencils, paper, etc.) as well as their assignments.

A 10-16 week parenting skills group for parents with children ages 2-12 who struggle with managing their child's challenging behaviors as well as their own anger.

Substance Abuse Services
The Center provides supportive substance abuse services for parents whose substance use is seriously interfering with the well-being of both themselves and the children they care for. Services include crisis intervention, short-term substance abuse counseling and group support for parents and children.The Center hosts regular AA and NA groups and offers
free childcare in our Children’s Playroom.
