Our programs offer a wide range of services for parents, caregivers and children. All services are located at 1757 Waller Street in the Haight neighborhood unless otherwise indicated.

Family Support Center
Our Family Support Center is a supportive, homelike setting where parents and caregivers can come to find resources and referrals, receive counseling, meet and share feelings and concerns with other parents, attend a support or parenting skills group, use the free phone, computer and printer, or just relax, enjoy free refreshments and spend some time apart from their children. Counseling & Therapy Services
We offer free and low-cost counseling for adults, children and families; free ongoing groups and workshops on a variety of topics of interest; and case management and home visitation services. We also offer substance abuse counseling, crisis intervention and regular on-site Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings with free childcare provided. The Playroom provides therapeutically-oriented child care and also offers a variety of parent-child activities and help with common parenting challenges. Learn More
Respite Care
A licensed off-site child care center that provides free, quality child care on an emergency basis, allowing parents to look for housing, find a job, handle crises or attend necessary appointments. Learn More
SafeStart
The city-wide SafeStart program seeks to reduce the incidence and impact of violence on children ages 6 and under in San Francisco. SafeStart delivers services, develops policies, and works to improve the systems which respond to families with young children exposed to violence.
